Laura spent 10 years in medical lab research on projects investigating cancer and cellular
regulation.  She earned her PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and also completed Post-Doctoral research. Afterward, as a result of her personal beliefs in holistic medicine, Laura transitioned into the world of Chinese medicine and Acupuncture.

Laura is a gentle practitioner, easily connects with patients' concerns, and creates a calm and relaxed environment that puts patients at ease. Most new patients are pleasantly surprised to find that they experience little to no discomfort during treatment. Many individuals feel quite relaxed during their acupuncture sessions—some even fall asleep!

Examples of conditions treated:

Patient treatments are tailored with the following techniques:

  • Acupuncture (does not perform "dry needling")
  • Gentle Abdominal Acupuncture (for pain in the limbs)
  • Gentle Manual therapies to relax muscles (Neural Reset Therapy & Yin Tui Na)
  • Cupping
  • Acutonics (tuning forks - many people become fans)
  • Microcurrent

Laura is a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAA). The ancient practice of Qigong is another interest of Laura’s.
